Palmetto Gardens Plaza completes first construction phase

Miami Gardens, Fla. VCM Builders said Friday it has completed the first phase of construction on Palmetto Gardens Plaza, a $19.8 million, 108,000-sq.-ft. retail center in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Phase 1 of the project included construction of a 20,000-sq.-ft. detached parcel that will house tenant 4U Lighting and Design Center.

VCM also completed all associated site work involving drainage, lighting and landscaping.

According to the center’s developer DZD Holdings, Palmetto Gardens Plaza will serve as both a neighborhood shopping center for the immediate community and as a destination shopping center for residents from northern Miami-Dade and southern Broward counties.

Designed by Behar Font & Partners, Palmetto Gardens Plaza features a clean, modern design, customized retail space to fit tenants’ needs, abundant parking and prominent signage for tenants.
