Orange County grocery center acquired for $46 million

12/20/2017
Retail Opportunity Investment Corp. has acquired The Village at Nellie Gail Ranch in Laguna Hills, California, for $46 million from Vintage Real Estate.

The 88,486-sq.-ft. center, anchored by a Smart & Final Extra supermarket, opened in 1987 and was renovated in 2015. Other tenants include MOD Pizza, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Cycle Bar, and BLS Nail Resort.

“The Village at Nellie Gale Ranch was a unique opportunity for ROIC to acquire a rare coastal Orange County grocery-anchored asset located inside of a tightly controlled master-planned community," said Geoff Tranchina of JLL, which represented Vintage Real Estate in the deal.
