Century 21 Department Store is set to open its doors on Fulton Street in downtown Brooklyn.

The store, the off-price retailer’s 11th location, will occupy four floors and 140,000 sq. ft. at City Point, a 1.8 million-sq.-ft. retail, residential and office space under development. It officially opens on Oct. 11.

In addition to women's, men's, shoes, accessories, children's, cosmetics and home departments, the new Century 21 will feature a range of amenities and services not standard for an off-pricer, including a luxury vintage boutique, a personal stylist service available in person and by appointment, a personal stylist service and an in-store café (Brooklyn Roasting Company).

The store's design is also more up market than a typical off-pricer, with luxe chandeliers, upscale fitting rooms and streamlined fixtures merchandised to create a more boutique experience. (DGC Capital Contracting acted as the general contractor on the project, and self-performed carpentry and fixture installations.)

Century 21 is set to open an additional location this fall, at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida, and in 2018 it will open at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Also, the retailer recently concluded a pop-up venture at Santa Monica Place, in Santa Monica, California, in partnership with WithMe.
