Nordstrom, Saks to anchor planned shopping center in Puerto Rico

San Juan, Puerto Rico Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue both signed on to anchor the planned Plaza Internacional shopping center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marking both retailers’ entry onto the island.

Taubman Centers, Las Vegas, and New Century Development, San Juan, are partnering on the project, which will include a hotel, casino and 650,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

Plaza Internacional will serve approximately two thirds of Puerto Rico's population of 4 million people.
