Nordstrom Rack opening in Boca Raton

Seattle Nordstrom said Tuesday it will open a Nordstrom Rack store at University Commons shopping center in Boca Raton, Fla.

The 36,000-sq.-ft. store is projected to open in fall 2010.

The new Nordstrom Rack will join existing tenants Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond and Barnes & Noble.

University Commons also features P.F. Changs, McCormick & Schmicks and J Alexanders.

Boca Raton-based Schmier & Feurring Properties developed the property and leases and manages the shopping center.
