Nordstrom Rack to Open in Sandy, Utah

Seattle Nordstrom said Wednesday that it plans to open a 35,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack at The Commons at Southtowne shopping center in Sandy, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. Other tenants at the Commons include Bed Bath & Beyond and ULTA.

The new store, which will open in spring 2009, will be the second Nordstrom Rack location in Utah. The original location is 15 miles away in Salt Lake City.
