Nine new tenants join Richmond Centre
Richmond, Ky. Charlotte, N.C.-based Crosland LLC announced that nine new national and local tenants have joined the 120-acre retail destination Richmond Centre, located in Richmond, Ky., about 20 miles from Lexington.
Anchor tenant Meijer has been joined by The Children’s Place, Fusion Tanning Studios, Sprint and Sweets & Treats. Other tenants planned to open include PetSmart, Subway, Great Clips, Real Law and Forcht Bank.
Meijer opened a 207,483-sq.-ft. supermarket in May, and PetSmart will open a 15,304-sq.-ft. store in January 2011.
The Children’s Place opened a 4,020-sq.-ft. store in July, and Sprint opened a 1,490-sq.-ft. store on Sept. 9. Subway will open a 1,199-sq.-ft. location in late November. Locally owned Sweets & Treats just opened a 958-sq. ft. ice cream shop, and Great Clips opened a 1,132-sq.-ft. salon in mid-May.
Fusion Tanning Studios opened a 2,062-sq.-ft. space in August, and Real Law opened a 1,001-sq.-ft. walk-in law center in September. Forcht Bank will open a branch on 1.75 acres in late October.
The Richmond Centre development features 800,000 sq. ft. of retail space featuring 13 outparcels, 15 acres for two hotels, and 60,000 sq. ft. of office space. Current anchors include Belk, J.C. Penney, Cinemark Theatre and Meijer.
Richmond Centre is a joint venture between Crosland LLC and Carolina Holdings.
