Neotel’s first retail store opens

Telecommunications company Neotel has debuted its retail presence at Cedar Square, north of Johannesburg, according to an article in IT News Africa on Monday.

“This is another step in the right direction,” Ajay Pandey, CEO and MD of Neotel, told the publication. “It has always been one of our objectives to bring Neotel’s products and services closer to our customers and the retail store does just that.”

The opening of the retail store means that customers can now purchase Neotel products online, through the company’s customer call center, at a variety of channel partners or at Neotel’s own retail store.

Neotel said it plans to open a number of these retail stores in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
