Lucky’s Market continues to grow its footprint in Florida.
The value-priced natural and organic foods grocer announced it has signed four new leases for stores in Florida, with the locations scheduled to open in the next 18 to 24 months. The new locations include Venice, West Boca, Pensacola, and Ormond Beach.
Lucky's Market is backed by supermarket giant Kroger, which has no traditional stores in Florida. In addition to a wide variety of specialty and natural foods, stores include juice bars, bulk foods, apothecary departments, beer and wine, café areas and the company's signature "Sip 'n Stroll" program where customers can grab a $2 pint of local beer or a $3 glass of wine while they shop.
The chain, which is based in Boulder, Colorado, currently operates 30 stores (with 13 in Florida).The Boulder, Col.-based company expects its store count by the end of 2018 to total more than 35 stores.
