In-N-Out Burger to open in Tucson

Tucson, Ariz. In-N-Out Burger said it has signed a 20-year lease for a new 3,500-sq.-ft. drive-through restaurant in Tucson, Ariz. The transaction was handled by Commercial Retail Advisors. The site is owned by Broadway and Kolb, LLC.

Construction is scheduled to start in October, with opening planned for first quarter 2010. This restaurant will be In-N-Out Burger’s third within the Tucson area.

In a separate transaction, In-N-Out Burger has closed on the purchase of the 22,000-sq.-ft. parcel of land at the northeast corner of Broadway Boulevard and Kolb Road, adjacent to the ground lease parcel.

A vacant gas station on the property will be razed and a new 5,000-sq.-ft. multi-tenant retail building will be constructed on the site. The new retail building will be offered for lease by Commercial Retail Advisors.
