Rockville, Md. -- Mom’s Organic Market is opening its first Pennsylvania store, in Rosemont Square, Bryn Mawr, which is located outside of Philadelphia.
"If this store is successful, it will be pivotal in giving us the confidence to expand throughout the region, and possibly further into the Northeast,” said Scott Nash, the founder and CEO of Mom's, which currently operates 10 stores in the Washington/Baltimore area. “We believe that the more Mom's stores there are, the better off the world will be ... we know of no other retail chain that is as environmentally responsible as we are. We have one purpose — to protect and restore the environment. Through our actions and leading by example, the more stores we have, the more we can accomplish our purpose."
The new store will offer a large variety of organic and unique grocery items, including bulk foods, gourmet cheeses, local and organic meats, sustainable seafood, gluten-free foods, supplements and body care products, environmentally friendly household goods, and pet products. It will also feature an all-organic sit-down eatery featuring salads, steam bowls, fresh juices, sandwiches, and specials.
