Madison Marquette launches online network
Las Vegas During RECon 2009, sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers, in Las Vegas, Washington, D.C.-based developer Madison Marquette said Monday that it launched an online community for all of its retail tenants that reside across its nearly 100 properties nationwide.
Called the first of its kind, the Madison Marquette Retailer Network is a social community that allows members to connect with each other and with Madison’s retail operations executives who can provide support in retail operations, including store design, merchandising, human resources, marketing and accounting. It also leverages the LinkedIn platform, which currently has more than 35 million registered users.
“The online community will be a resource to centralize and maximize our support services for tenants, especially those local tenants and chains that do not have franchise support services,” said Kurt Ivey, senior VP marketing and corporate communications, Madison Marquette.
All tenants in the company’s portfolio, including properties leased and managed on behalf of clients, are eligible to join.
