Lowe’s, seven others, sign on at Lake Nona

2/3/2017

Lowe’s has signed on as the third anchor at Lake Nona Landing, the newly opened shopping center within the 17-square-mile Lake Nona master-planned community outside of Orlando, Fla. The 158,000-sq.-ft. home improvement store joins current anchors Walmart Supercenter and Sam’s Club.

Developer Tavistock Development announced it has also executed leases for seven other retailers at the 53-acre site: TJ Maxx, Mattress One, Firehouse Subs, Anthony Jewelers, UPS, Rubio’s, and GNC.

Lake Nona is one of the 10 fastest growing communities in America with more than $3 billion in construction in the last 8 years across 7.1 million sq. ft. of residential and commercial facilities. It is the site of the USTA’s New Home of American Tennis – the largest tennis facility in the country.

Previously announced Lake Nona Landing tenants include Chili’s, PDQ, Pollo Tropical, AT&T, Lee Nails & Spa, Dunkin Donuts, and Sports Clips. Tavistock reports that 86% of the 625,369-sq.-ft. shopping center is leased.
