Long Island’s South Ocean Avenue gains two new tenants
Patchogue, N.Y. -- A storefront retail space in downtown Patchogue, New York, has secured leases totaling 7,400 sq. ft., according to North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management.
The 23,000-sq.-ft. space at 35-71 South Ocean Ave. will feature sushi restaurant 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge (4,900 sq. ft.) and apparel retailer Jeans Fashion (2,500 sq. ft.).
Patchogue, located on the South Shore of Long Island, N.Y., is undergoing a dramatic rebirth that is transforming the 2.2-square-mile village into a dining, arts and entertainment hub. New Village at Patchogue – a $100 million mixed-use development now under construction at the site of the former Swezey’s department store – is enhancing the urban fabric of the town and promoting Patchogue as an active, pedestrian-friendly community.
35-71 South Ocean Ave. is located one-half block away from the New Village development, which will include more than 291 apartment units and hundreds of new residential tenants.
