LA Fitness to open at Marketplace Shopping Center

St. Petersburg, Fla. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased 46,820 sq. ft. of retail space in St. Petersburg, Fla. to LA Fitness at Marketplace Shopping Center.

This will be the first LA Fitness location in St. Petersburg and the sixth location in the Tampa Bay area.  

The fitness center is currently under construction and scheduled to open first quarter 2011. 

The 90,296-sq.-ft. Marketplace Shopping Center is tenanted by  Starbucks, Planet Beach, Cody’s Roadhouse Grill, Athenian Gardens and The UPS Store.
