Kimco makes two senior appointments

Kimco Realty has announced the promotion of Ross Cooper to president and David Jamieson to chief operating officer. Conor Flynn, who had filled the dual role of president and chief executive officer, remains as CEO.

Cooper retains his role as chief investment officer and will continue to be responsible for directing Kimco’s acquisitions and dispositions. He joined the company in 2006 and ran acquisitions and asset management in the company’s southern region.

Jamieson joined the New Hyde Park, New York, REIT in 2007 and served as executive VP of asset management and operations.

“These appointments are well deserved and, as part of our long-term succession planning efforts,” said Flynn.
