Junior anchor lineup announced for CBL Wisconsin malls

Chattanooga, Tenn. CBL & Associates Properties said Thursday it has leased space to Forever 21 for a West Towne Mall store and to Steinhafels furniture for a store at East Towne Mall; both malls are in Madison, Wis.

According to CBL, both deals mark the developer’s latest progress toward re-leasing junior anchor locations that became available in 2008.

The new 37,000-sq.-ft. Forever 21 and 29,000-sq.-ft. Steinhafels will locate in the former Steve & Barry’s locations at the malls. Steinhafels will celebrate its grand opening on July 31, and Forever 21 is scheduled to open this fall.

East Towne Mall is an 840,000-sq.-ft. shopping center anchored by Boston Store, J.C. Penney, Sears, Barnes & Noble, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Gordmans. The mall has more than 110 specialty retailers including The Buckle, Hollister, Pac Sun, and Victoria’s Secret.

West Towne Mall is a 915,000-sq.-ft. shopping center anchored by Boston Store, J.C. Penney, Sears and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The mall has more than 100 specialty retailers and 17 eateries, including Apple, Banana Republic, Sephora and Williams Sonoma, as well as recent additions Coach and Swarovski.
