JLL names COO for Americas region

Chicago Jones Lang LaSalle announced Friday that Ann Sperling has been appointed COO for the Americas region effective this month.

Responsibilities include driving execution of the Americas regional plan, leading the Americas Management Committee in developing and implementing key operating policies, overseeing the region’s planning process and compensation program, integrating support functions with the businesses and driving continuous improvement of business processes.

Sperling will succeed Bill Thummel, who has held the position since 2005 and has been named to the newly created COO role for the firm’s global Corporate Solutions organization.
