Janss Marketplace reports new restaurants and Toys ‘R’ Us renewal

Thousand Oaks, Calif. NewMark Merrill Cos. said Tuesday that Subway, Lucky’s Dog House and Toys “R” Us represent tenant growth at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Subway opened July 1, Lucky’s Dog House will open during the fourth quarter, and Toys “R” Us signed a five-year lease extension.

Other tenants in the center include Buca di Beppo, Daphne’s, Panera Bread, Gold’s Gym, Marshalls, Old Navy, Mann Theaters and TGI Friday’s.

Originally built as two separate centers in 1959, the property was redeveloped in 1995 by the Janss Family. In 2001 the Janss Family sold the center to a group led by NewMark Merrill Cos. and RPP.
