Irvine expands dining options in Orange County

Irvine, Calif. - Irvine Company Retail Properties is opening new restaurants across its Orange County portfolio in California, including Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum Center, The Market Place, and several community centers.



At Fashion Island in Newport Beach, new restaurants include Sushi Roku, American Tea Room and Hopdoddy Burger Bar. Expanded dining options at Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine include Kona Grill and Habana. And Taps Fish House & Brewery and Famous Dave’s Barbeque have opened at The Market Place in Irvine and Tustin, along with Miguel Jr.’s Homestyle Mexican Food and Piadian Italian Market Sandwiches.



In addition, University Center in Irvine now features Mendocino Farms, and Orange County food trucks The Burnt Truck and Dogzilla Hotdogs have partnered to open Burntzilla Modern Eats, a brick-and-mortar restaurant at Walnut Village Center in Irvine. The menu includes both food trucks’ offerings like the Burnt Truck’s sliders and Dogzilla’s Asian-inspired fusion hot dogs, all served in small plate sizes.



Coming later this summer, California Pizza Kitchen will open its new prototype restaurant at Alton Square in Irvine. The newly designed menu will offer hand-tossed pizzas, pastas and salads, and will introduce a new selection of main dishes as well as handcrafted cocktails. The reinvented restaurant will feature a more rustic atmosphere with reclaimed wood throughout and a separate bar area.
