Ironwood buys 63 acres for eastern Pennsylvania center

4/22/2009

Ironwood Property Group of Conshohocken, Pa., has acquired 63 acres in Tilden Township, Berks County, Pa., and will soon begin construction on Tilden Ridge, a 400,000-sq.-ft. regional shopping center.

A 152,000-sq.-ft. Wal-Mart Supercenter and a 156,000-sq.-ft. Lowe's will anchor the project. In addition, Tilden Ridge will have 60,000 sq. ft. of in-line retail space and five freestanding outparcels. The site sits at the intersection of two major state highways and is adjacent to a 250,000-sq.-ft. Cabela’s hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor store. Since Cabela's Drive leads to Tilden Ridge, each will supply the other with customers.
