I.O. Metro debuts in Georgia with three Avenue locations

Atlanta Atlanta-based Cousins Properties said Monday that specialty lifestyle furniture retailer I.O. Metro will make its Georgia debut with grand openings at three Atlanta Avenue locations from Sept. 14 to Sept. 16.

Since launching in 2005 in Arkansas, I.O. Metro has expanded to 21 locations in eight states, including Alabama; Georgia; Mississippi; Missouri; Oklahoma; Tennessee; and Texas. The Atlanta launch marks the first time the company will open multiple stores simultaneously. 

“After success in small- and mid-sized markets, we felt it was time to expand to a large city with multiple locations, and The Avenue was a perfect fit for us,” said Jay Howard, CEO, I.O. Metro.

The three Avenue venues are The Avenue Webb Gin (Snellville, Ga.), The Avenue Forsyth (Cumming, Ga.) and The Avenue West Cobb (Marietta, Ga.).
