Inland names executive VP and head of property management

Oak Brook, Ill. -- Inland Investment Real Estate Services hires Niall J. Byrne as executive VP and head of property management. Byrne will be responsible for IIRES’s property management for Inland Investments, Inland National Development Corporation and Inland Institutional Capital Partners.



“Niall brings a wealth of experience in property management across numerous property sectors including retail, multi-family, office and industrial,” said Daniel Zatloukal, president for Inland Investment Real Estate Services. “Niall’s knowledge and expertise is an excellent complement for our growing and diverse portfolio of just under 500 properties, located across 44 states, totaling approximately 31.5 million sq. ft. and including more than 7,700 apartment units.”



Byrne comes to IIRES from Retail Properties of America where he worked in leadership and executive positions for 10 years. Most recently, he served as executive VP and president of property management for RPAI. He was responsible for all aspects of property management, oversaw net operating income, occupancy and consumer marketing and expanded the company’s national retailer relationships. Prior to joining RPAI, Byrne served as VP of property management at American Landmark Properties. During his career, he also held positions with Providence Management Company, The Habitat Company, The Balcor Company and Thomas Havey and Company.
