IKEA to open third Fla. store

Delft, Netherlands IKEA is preparing to open its Tampa, Fla.-based location on Wed., May 6. This will be IKEA’s third Florida location, and the chain’s 297th store worldwide.

The 353,000-sq.-ft. unit will employ 400 employees and feature 10,000 items. It will also have a 350-seat IKEA restaurant, 49 room settings, three model-home interiors, a supervised children’s play area and approximately 1,600 parking spaces.
