Hobby Lobby opens at N.C. open-air center
Burlington, N.C. Hobby Lobby has announced the May 11 opening of its new store at Alamance Crossing, an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment center developed by Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CBL & Associates Properties. The center, in Burlington, N.C., also features new or impending openings by American Eagle, Brixx Pizza, Lifeway Christian, Mattress Firm, Verizon Wireless, Diva Spa Nails, Bank of America and Wachovia.
“We are pleased to welcome Hobby Lobby to Alamance Crossing,” said Mark Mancuso, senior VP development, CBL. “The shopping center continues to generate tremendous interest from both area shoppers and from retailers and restaurants looking to join the project.”

Alamance Crossing is anchored by Belk, J.C. Penney, Dillard's, a 16-screen Carousel Cinemas and includes junior anchor Barnes & Noble. The center is located on 142 acres at the intersection of Interstate 85/40 and University Drive in Burlington.
