Hillside Village multi-million dollar renovation is underway

Cedar Hill, Texas -- Trademark Property Co. announced that it has broken ground on its multi-million dollar renovation of Hillside Village, formerly Uptown Village at Cedar Hill, located in Cedar Hill, Texas.



Phase one of the renovation is scheduled to open this fall and will include updated signs at property entrances to reflect the new name and brand, a new children’s play area, a new promenade section with a bocce ball court and a covered stage area, along with shaded seating around the Village Green. The renovation will also include enhanced landscaping and lighting throughout the property and a new public art program.



“Evolving Hillside Village will improve our shoppers’ experience, and attract new shoppers and tenants,” said Terry Montesi, CEO of Trademark. “We’ve carefully planned this renovation to be responsive to the community’s feedback, and we can’t wait for them to experience the finished product.”



Hillside Village currently includes 350,000 sq. ft. of specialty retail and restaurants, anchors Barnes & Noble, Dillard’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods, and 31,000 sq. ft. of office space. Charlotte Russe, and H&M will be joining the retail line-up in the coming weeks.
