Greensboro, N.C., to get new retail development

Charlotte, N.C. Local-area developer Centdev Properties announced it is constructing a $10 million retail project on 25 acres at an Interstate 85 bypass in Greensboro, N.C.

The Village at South Elm is planned to open in phases over the next three years and will service a heavily retailed area that already includes big-box-retailers Wal-Mart and Lowe’s.

According to the developers, The Village at South Elm will have no big-box stores or anchor tenants.
