Golfsmith opens first location in Wisconsin

Milwaukee Golfsmith International Holdings has opened a new 25,000-sq.-ft. interactive golf superstore in Milwaukee.

The new Golfsmith features an expansive six-bay indoor driving range with state-of-the-art launch monitors and Certified PGA Pro golf instruction from GolfTEC.

Located at the Fountain Square Shopping Center in Brookfield, Wis., the new Golfsmith also features a huge indoor putting green and two “virtual reality” custom fitting studios that match golfers to the clubs that fit their swing.

“Since this is our first store in Wisconsin, we wanted to make it a real destination for golfers from across state,” said Martin Hanaka, president and CEO of Golfsmith. “Golfsmith in Milwaukee is another milestone in our commitment to activity-based retail, and to expanding our retail footprint nationwide.”
