Golfsmith leases space at Brea Marketplace

Brea, Calif. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said Wednesday that Golfsmith has leased 20,144 sq. ft. at Brea Marketplace, in Brea, Calif.

The new store is slated to open second quarter 2010.

Located next to The Brea Mall, Brea Marketplace is a 352,115-sq.-ft. shopping center with a new 158,648-sq.-ft. podium-style Target and a Sprouts Market.

Other tenants include 24 Hour Fitness, Beverages and More, Men’s Wearhouse and T.G.I. Friday’s.

The shopping center’s redevelopment was completed in October 2009 with a design that features components of the company’s “greengenuity” program including the latest advances in green building design, construction, operations and maintenance to reduce the use of natural resources and increase efficiencies at new and existing developments.
