Golfsmith debuts in Kansas City

Overland Park, Kan. Golfsmith International Holdings said Friday that it has opened its first store in the Kansas City area. The 28,000-sq.-ft. interactive golf superstore is located in Overland Park, Kan.

The store features, among other amenities, an indoor driving range, indoor putting green and “virtual reality” custom fitting studios that help match golfers to the clubs that fit their swing.

Golfsmith currently operates about 70 specialty golf and tennis equipment, apparel and accessories stores in the United States.
