Giant Eagle exec to head up real estate for La-Z-Boy

La-Z-Boy Inc. announced the appointment of James Chickini as VP, real estate, responsible for real estate development initiatives for the La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries store network, including corporate-operated locations, across North America.



Chickini joins La-Z-Boy from Giant Eagle, where he was VP, real estate leasing & development, and was responsible for all aspects of real estate related to the company's retail formats. In that role, he was also responsible for the real estate accounting and lease administration departments managing 420 retail supermarket and fuel locations, nine warehouses and six office buildings and manufacturing operations.
