Gap to expand in Thailand

San Francisco Gap has signed a franchise agreement with Armin Systems to bring Gap stores to Thailand.

Gap said the first store is expected to open in Bangkok during spring 2010.

Gap and its franchisees have opened 100 Gap and 34 Banana Republic stores in 17 countries.
