Gap and French boutique team up for temporary concept shop in Manhattan

San Francisco Gap announced Tuesday its partnership with the celebrated Paris boutique, Merci, to create a month-long concept store adjacent to the Manhattan flagship Gap, located at 54th Street and Fifth Avenue.

The upcoming Merci Gap will be Inspired by the original Parisian boutique and be open Sept. 10 to Oct. 4. It will feature a variety of products sourced from locations across the globe.

As with the original store in Paris, all profits from Merci Gap, after production costs are deducted, will go to various children's charities and to provide work for impoverished youth in Madagascar as with the original store in Paris.
