Five new retail tenants to open at Constitution Square
Washington, D.C. StonebridgeCarras, developer of Constitution Square in Washington, D.C., has announced the signing of five retail leases that will join the 50,000-sq.-ft. Harris Teeter grocery store scheduled to open later this year.
The new tenants include a 5,200-sq.-ft. TD Bank, a 2,500-sq.-ft. Potbelly Sandwich Works restaurant, a 2,100-sq.-ft. Tynan Coffee & Tea cafe, a 6,000-sq.-ft. Constitution Cafe restaurant, and an 1,100-sq.-ft. Georgetown Valet drycleaner.
The first phase of Constitution Square, scheduled to deliver in 2010, will total 1.6 million sq. ft. of mixed-use space located adjacent to the New York Avenue Metro station at First and M Streets, N.E.
The project’s 80,000 sq. ft. of street-level retail space is now 84% pre-leased to Harris Teeter and the five new retail tenants.
