Evergreen completes three Fresh & Easy stores in southern California

Glendale, Calif. Evergreen Development Co. said Thursday that it has completed development on three Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market stores in southern California and all three are scheduled to open in February.

The stores are located in Rialto, Los Angeles and Whittier.

The Los Angeles store is a mixed-use project that is slated to open Feb. 24. The Fresh & Easy store is 14,796 sq. ft. and is located on the ground level.

The Rialto store is scheduled to open for business on Feb. 17 and is located in The Shoppes at Creekside. The 15,030-sq.-ft. store includes an energy-efficient design with skylights to bring in more natural light, LED lighting, increased insulation and energy-efficient refrigeration systems.

The 14,480-sq.-ft. Whittier location includes similar energy-efficiency design elements and is scheduled to open Feb. 24.
