Epicure to anchor mixed-use retail at Gables Ponce

Miami Beach, Fla. -- Terranova Corp. said Friday that Epicure Gourmet Market & Cafe will open a 24,000-sq.-ft., ground-floor location at Gables Ponce, a mixed-use project located in Coral Gables, Fla.



Epicure, based in Miami Beach, will anchor the ground-floor retail of the 248-unit residential project being built by Gables Urban.



Phase I of Gables Ponce consists of a 10-story building with 248 luxury rental units, a parking garage, and 26,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail space. The building will open to an open-air plaza that will include Epicure’s outdoor cafe. Construction has begun on Phase II, which will add a 10-story building with 120 residential units atop 8,000 sq. ft. of office space.



Phase III of the project is in the planning stages, which will include more luxury apartments and approximately 19,000 sq. ft. of additional ground-floor retail.
