Three current franchisee groups will introduce a total of 17 new Dunkin’ Donuts shops to the Atlanta area following deals signed with Dunkin’ Brands. Four of the units will be co-branded with Baskin-Robbins.
Eleven stores in Calhoun, Cartersville, Marietta, Rockmart, and Smyrna will be developed by the Bluemont Group, operator of 22 Dunkin’ Donuts shops in Tennessee. Sandip and Ronak Patel, who own six multi-brand units, will add four more in the expansion. Single-unit operator West Georgia Café will double its Dunkin’ portfolio with a new multi-brand shop in Atlanta.

Some 11,300 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants populate the globe, more than 8,000 of them in the U.S.
