CSA names seasoned writer/marketer as real estate editor

Chain Store Age has named Al Urbanski as real estate editor & manager; effective immediately. Al takes the reins of CSA’s online and print real estate content as well as develops marketing strategies for shopping center companies, real estate advisers and brokers, tech firms and more to leverage CSA’s retailer audience.



A magazine journalism graduate of Syracuse University, Al worked as a newspaper reporter before beginning a New York City publishing career as a writer, editor-in-chief, salesperson, publisher, and co-owner. Titles he worked on include Sales & Marketing Management, Progressive Grocer, Promo and, most recently, Direct Marketing News.



In his new position with Chain Store Age, Al returns home in a sense, as he is also a veteran of Retailing Today, a sister title to CSA.
