Crossroads at Terrell to break ground late next year
Dallas — The Retail Connection and Oakridge Investments have announced a partnership to build the Crossroads at Terrell, a regional power center at the intersection of I-20 and U.S. Highway 80 in Terrell, Texas. The 225,000-sq.-ft. Phase I of the development will break ground late next year.
Adjacent to the site, the City of Terrell recently approved zoning for the development of a 20-acre, 60,000-sq.-ft. Buc-ee’s flagship travel center as part of a Terrell Market Center development. Existing Buc-ee’s flagships draw more than 5,000 vehicles per day and will make the Terrell intersection a dominant destination travel stop for vehicles moving between Dallas/Fort Worth and Louisiana along I-20.
Additional restaurant, retail and hotel properties are master planned to develop around the Buc-ee’s flagship store.
The overall 36-acre Terrell Market Center sits next to a 52-acre tract owned by Baylor Health Care Systems, which is also participating in the overall infrastructure development of the intersection. The project will be co-listed by The Retail Connection.
