Corner Bakery Café to open 13 stores in Cleveland

Dallas - Corner Bakery Cafe plans to open 13 new stores in greater Cleveland. The retailer has entered into its first area development agreement in the state of Ohio.



Scott Berkowitz is leading Corner Bakery Cafe's 35th franchise group, which includes Brad Kowit and Steve Overholt. With more than 185 company-owned and franchise cafes currently open, and franchise agreements representing commitments for 390 units, Corner Bakery Cafe plans on doubling its national franchisee-operated store footprint in the next two years. To accomplish this goal, the company is adding new multi-unit franchise partners in growth markets across the country.
