Coach joins La Palmera growing tenant lineup
Corpus Christi, Texas Trademark Property Group announced Tuesday that Coach, along with Aveda Institute Corpus Christi and Zumiez, is the latest addition to La Palmera’s growing list of tenants.
And, as the $50 million mall renovation nears completion, Trademark said that La Palmera continues to provide employment opportunities through its expansion and the addition of new tenants, making good on a promise made to the City of Corpus Christi.
When Trademark Property purchased the 1 million-sq.-ft. regional mall in July 2008, part of the promised benefit to the city was to help stimulate the local economy and create new jobs. Through all new tenants, including Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, P.F. Chang’s and Ulta opening this year, an estimated 361 jobs will have been created with more than 175 of those full time.
Coach will open 2,480 sq. ft. this summer, and will be the only Coach location in the Coastal Bend region.
Aveda will have two locations: Opening in October on the upper level, The Aveda Institute Corpus Christi (15,533 sq. ft.) will be the fourth campus in Texas to offer education and hands-on Cosmetology and Esthiology training, while the Aveda retail store (1,000 sq. ft.), opens in July in the Outdoor Main Entrance, selling Aveda products and housing the student services and admissions area for the Institute.
Scheduled to open its first store in Corpus Christi this summer, Zumiez will feature a 3,635-sq.-ft. location.
