CityCenter to open before year end

Las Vegas Urban resort destination CityCenter is slated to open December 2009. Upon opening, the mixed-use project is said to be one of the largest sustainable developments in existence.

The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold certification to ARIA’s hotel tower, convention center and theater, as well as Vdara Hotel.

CityCenter’s remaining venues will seek a combination of silver and gold LEED ratings.
