Chipotle to open in London

Denver Chipotle Mexican Grill is in the works to open a restaurant in London. The location, which is slated to open next April, will be its first in Europe.

Chipotle is also looking at possible sites in Paris and Munich, but expects most of its growth next year to be in the United States, according to the Associated Press.

Steve Ells, Chipotle’s founder and co-chief executive, said London has become an important city for food and that the interest there in locally produced food and seasonal ingredients fits with the company's emphasis.
