Cheesecake Factory to open at Michigan mall
PREIT has secured Cheesecake Factory as its dining anchor at Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids, just the second Michigan location for the popular restaurant chain.
It will join new department store anchor Von Maur in opening at the property this fall. Two other pieces of PREIT’s re-curation plan at Woodland — REI and Urban Outfitters — are set to open in in the coming months.
“The high-impact redevelopment of Woodland Mall is delivering a diverse and robust tenant mix that aligns with our portfolio quality improvement efforts,” said PREIT CEO Joseph F. Coradino.
Altar’d State and Apple recently completed store renovations at Woodland. They will be joined by newly renovated prototypes from Williams-Sonoma and Bath & Body Works, which will relocate their stores to the newly-created Von Maur wing.
H&M, Black Rock Bar & Grill, Pottery Barn, and The North Face are also part of the tenant mix at Woodland.
