Cencor completes renovation of Austin building

Austin, Texas Cencor Realty Services said it has completed a year-long project to transform a 1970s-era medical building at 4200 North Lamar into a vibrant mixed-use landmark for Central Austin, Texas.

4200 Lamar Partners Ltd., a limited partnership assembled by the Austin office of Cencor Realty Services, purchased the 31,488-sq.-ft. building in December 2008, then launched an extensive redevelopment. The new exterior was re-designed by Michael Hsu Design Office, and Blue and Associates was the general contractor.

The first floor of 4200 was converted to retail space for a line-up of high-profile, largely Austin-based concepts, including Uchiko, the second location of Austin Japanese restaurant Uchi.
