CBRE promotes Ferguson to president, southeast region
Lost Angeles — CBRE Group has announced that John Ferguson has been promoted to president, southeast region.
Ferguson has led CBRE’s southeast region since January 2011. His elevation to the title of president reflects outstanding performance across a broad range of leadership activities including new business development, business and sales management, market and industry leadership, client relationships and people management, said CBRE in a statement.
As the leader of the southeast region, Ferguson oversees operations in seven market areas — Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Charleston, Greenville, Nashville and Savannah — and is the primary relationship manager for CBRE’s affiliate offices in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Among his accomplishments is the acquisition and integration of three firms in the past 15 months.
He previously served as market leader for CBRE’s Atlanta office, where he managed 500 professionals across the full spectrum of the company’s business lines. Three CBRE President’s Awards have recognized his outstanding performance as Atlanta market leader.
