Camarillo Village Square re-tenants with Big 5, PetSmart, Chase Bank

9/9/2010

Camarillo, Calif. Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Donahue Schriber said Wednesday it has signed three leases with national tenants at its 246,141-sq.-ft. grocery and drugstore-anchored Camarillo Village Square in Ventura County, Calif.

The addition of Big 5 Sporting Goods, PetSmart and Chase Bank will change the scope of the community center, according to Donahue Schriber, and upgrade 38,000 sq. ft. of the existing tenant mix at the center.

Donahue Schriber originally bought Camarillo Village Square in 2000 and remodeled the property in 2002 to feature a Mediterranean theme as designed by Orange, Calif.-based Architects Orange. Albertsons and Rite Aid anchor the shopping center.

Big 5 Sporting Goods is slated to open a 16,800-sq.-ft. store at the end of 2010. Also scheduled to open at the end of the year is Chase Bank with a 4,178-sq.-ft. space. PetSmart plans to open in spring 2011 with a 16,800-sq.-ft. store.
