Brixmor names JLL Retail exec as VP of leasing
New York - Brixmor Property Group, owner and operator of the largest wholly-owned portfolio of grocery-anchored shopping centers in the U.S., has named Christopher Ralph as VP leasing and will be based in Orlando, Florida. In this role, Ralph will oversee the leasing at Brixmor’s 58 community and neighborhood centers in Florida, which collectively total nine million-sq.-ft..
Ralph is a shopping center industry veteran with extensive knowledge in the areas of leasing, management, financial administration and operations for various types of retail center formats.
“Over the course of his 26 years in the industry, Chris has gained deep insights into the Florida retail real estate market as well as considerable experience in client management and service,” said Michael Lee, Brixmor’s senior VP leasing. “We are delighted to welcome him back to Brixmor and are confident that his expertise will provide meaningful support as we continue to enhance the merchandising mix at our Florida centers and strengthen existing tenant relationships.”
Ralph most recently served as VP, regional management lead at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Retail, where he was responsible for managing client relationships for retail properties in the Orlando market.
Prior to JLL, Ralph worked as a senior VP leasing and asset management at Century Retail, where he directed the leasing efforts for a portfolio of 50 shopping centers located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina and was instrumental in developing merchandising strategies to help maximize value.
