Bottom Dollar Food to expand in greater Philadelphia market

Salisbury, N.C. Discount grocer Bottom Dollar Food said Wednesday it will open approximately 15-20 stores by the end of 2010 in the greater Philadelphia market.

Bottom Dollar Food has identified 21 locations for new stores, and said it is also considering other locations in the greater Philadelphia area, and will open its first store in the fall.

Bottom Dollar operates 28 stores in North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland.
