Billabong opens first Midwest store at Water Tower Place

Chicago Surf-brand retailer Billabong said Thursday it will open its first store in the Midwest at Chicago’s Water Tower Place in late August.

The 3,700 sq.-ft. store will be located on level four of the newly redeveloped shopping, dining and entertainment destination.

“Opening a Billabong store in the Midwest is a great opportunity for us to present the lifestyle and products Billabong represents,” said Jim Kempton, director of media for Billabong USA.

Water Tower Place is owned and managed by General Growth Properties.
